My son's teacher celebrated a birthday recently and he wanted me to make a card to give to her.
I chose a Utah Divas sketch and the SAB paper from Stampin Up. The box is made using Box #2 from Stampin Up which I filledup with Dove chocolates. . I was really happy with the way it turned out. The card was also a make and take I made for our monthly Demonstrator morning.
Bye for now.

Using Sale-abration sets.
Hi Everyone,
I was playing around with the Sale A Bration goodies from Stampin Up. I do not usually do these colours but went outside the comfort zone. I must say I do like this stamp set, so expect to see it a few more times. I am also in love with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. It is such a useful punch, I use it when I do not have ribbon in the colour I want but want a ribbon look. The second photo is not actually a card, but it contains a note pad but I forgot to photograph the inside of it.
Bye for now.

Is it ever too late for Love??
Hello,
Well we do not celebrate Valentine's Day in our house, but I think every day should be an excuse for telling those closest to you that you love them.
These card are very simple. The first card is made using the negative of the top note die, it is actually a scrap that I had in my stash and the hearts are the punch outs from the card below it. The second card was described to me by Roslyn (who is my adoptive SU upline) as a card she made at her classes.
Thanks for stopping by,
Michelle

It's Been Too Long.....
Hello,
Well where do I start?
My life got awfully busy toward the end of last year, and blogging was the last thing I could get too.
I also lost my creative Mojo after making heaps of Christmas crafts.
Then in the new year my Dear 93yo Grandmother passed away. This left me feeling very empty. I made all the return thank you card for my Mum to send out and I didn't take any photos of them.
Thankfully I have now regained some creative inspiration and will share with you over the next little while.
This was a gift I made for a friend for Christmas. It is a calendar made using an acrylic photo frame and a diary that has a cover that you can slip the page in and out of. It was made using the retired bliss set from stampin up, but it is a favourite set of mine and my friend didnt mind.
Thanks for looking
Be back soon.

Tope Note Stepper Card
Today's card I made to thank some lovely ladies for sending me beautiful flowers whilst I was in hospital recently. It is a Tope Note Stepper Card, the instructions for which I got from Julie Leece. I have had the instructions for ages but never got around to making it. Julie's instructions where nice and easy to understand.
This shows the side on view. The only problem I had was were do I write on the card.

On this card I have used a new stamp set, Fabulous Florets, from the up coming mini catalogue, due to start on 1st December. I chose whisper white base and baja breeze, rose red and pink pirouette card and elegant eggplant and black ink.
I liked it but what do you think?
Till next time
Take CAre

CHRISTMAS FUN
I have seen various forms of these "elf legs" online, so I decided to get some Christmas spirit happening and make some of my own. These were fun to make and I cant wait to share them with family and friends over the Christmas time.
Arent they just so cute?
These would make great gifts for anyone.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mum's Birthday Card
My Dear Mum celebrated her birthday recently while they were visiting and helping me out.
I was working the day of her birthday, so being unorganised as I was on that day I even had to buy her birthday cake. It was a Berry Cheesecake from the Cheesecake shop. This would have to be the first Cheesecake I have ever bought. I always make the cheesecake or whatever cake is needed for the birthday. Oh well even Domestic Goddesses have their off days!!!
This is the card that I made for Mum's Birthday
Mum really liked the card I made for her. It was particularly hard trying to make this card with Mum hovering and asking what I was doing all the time. I ended up waiting until everyone was in bed before getting it done.
.
Bye for Now
Michelle
